Hour 6 - 8
I have a couple of shows coming up with my Electric Band.  We’re playing at the Cameron House this Friday and Saturday around 10pm.
In prep for the shows, I spent some extra time working on my pedal board set up (again) and tweaking sounds.  I do this a lot.  As the saying goes, “Life’s too short for bad tone”.  lol  I used to plug my guitar straight into my amp for years, until I had the realization that tone is equal to, if not more important than, what is actually being played.  I’m constantly modifying my board because what and how I play is largely influenced by the sound that’s coming out of the speaker.  I used a lot of different tones on my new record, Suites.  I wanted to create a lot of textures and soundscapes to keep things exciting and trying to pull these tones off live has been fun! :)
